| General uses
For hundreds of years, stinging nettle has been a popular remedy for several conditions such as painful muscles and joints, eczema, arthritis, gout, and anemia. Nowadays, it is used to treat urinary problems during the early stages of an enlarged prostate (known as benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH). Additionally, it is commonly used to help alleviate urinary tract infections, hay fever (allergic rhinitis), and joint pain by applying compresses or creams. It can also be used to relieve sprains, strains, tendonitis, and insect bites.
What it contains
The leaves are nutrient-dense and contain vitamins B, C and K, carotenoids, iron, calcium, potassium, sodium, selenium, manganese, sulfur, silica, phytonutrients like chlorophyll, polyphenols, lignans and sitosterol.
How to use
Take a teaspoon of stinging nettle in your favourite drink in the morning and evening before meals.

One tea bag makes four cups of tea. Place tea bag in kettle or flask. Add four cups of boiling water and steep for 15 minutes. Left over tea can be stored in the fridge and re heated if desired. Enjoy hot or cold. Sweeten with honey as needed.
